About Me
Hi! I'm Julieta Cuellar
I'm a first-generation Latina grad in my family, working in Corporate America Information Technology, and I'm thrilled to become a children's book author this year. I am a mom of two boys and I enjoy helping them discover the world and their joy in seeking adventure each day. As children read my debut book "Chasing My Dreams", I hope they will feel inspired to seek powerful and exciting careers for their lives. Growing up, I didn't have professional Latina role models who worked in the professional world from which I could learn. As an adult now, I continue to notice stereotypes still exist about women's intellectual abilities and I see how girls' STEM abilities are at times underestimated. I am happy to make the little girl I used to be, proud of the woman I am now and I'm so excited to empower more boys and girls to aim high and reach their envisioned goals.
